What we do at prayer meeting
Any church that desires to be faithful is a praying church. We read in the book of Acts that the early church prayed, and they prayed together! We want to do likewise.
Our timing is deliberate--Sunday nights at 7:00 PM--because we want to take time to prepare for Sunday morning worship!
We begin our prayer meetings with reading from the word of God, usually a few verses. Pastor Roman will then speak for a few minutes on what we read from, in order to help prepare our hearts for prayer.
When we pray, we desire to have our hearts set upon the Lord and for all of our requests to come in light of His glorious character. That way, our desires and requests are in accordance with His.
